Concert Series: Audra Puccio Nagby
Artist Biographies
Audra Puccio Nagby, Lyric Coloratura Soprano, has sung internationally as a concert soloist, recital, opera, oratorio, and musical theatre artist professionally since 2001.
Two of her favorite and most frequently performed opera roles include The Queen of the Night from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Mabel in the Gilbert and Sullivan production, Pirates of Penzance. Audra’s most memorable musical theatre roles include Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady, and The Narrator from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.
Though most of her career has been spent onstage, Audra has a particular love for singing sacred music, believing that all gifts are given from God. She started singing in church at age three and has continued singing in churches throughout her life. When she was twenty years old, she devoted her life to making music for the Lord and will continue to sing His praises forever.
In addition to her own performances, she loves teaching, directing, and music directing, and hopes that her passion for music will rub off on her students and inspire them to continue to grow in their musical pursuits.
Audra earned her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from San Diego State University and is currently living in San Diego with her two sons, her wonderful husband, and dog named Figaro. She maintains an active voice studio, is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and serves on the board of the Grossmont College Friends of Music. She has been a member of the Grossmont College Music Faculty since the Fall of 2013 and has been the Soprano Soloist at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church since 2021.
Audra considers it pure joy to share her love of classical music as well as her love of sacred music in the St. Mark’s concert series alongside such talented, and truly warm, fun, and friendly musicians today.
